Fishing The Yough

Fishing is a popular activity in Ohiopyle. Fishing is for everyone. Anyone can fish from the beginner to those looking for a trophy fish. The most popular species of fish in the Yough River are the various trout, including Brown Trout, Brook Trout, and Rainbow Trout, as well as Smallmouth Bass.   The Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission recently placed the Middle Yough as the second best trout river in all of Pennsylvania.
